OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
At Pilates and Beyond Studio, we inspire body confidence and balance
in the way you feel, move and live! Pilates is more than just a means to a “better body” and more than just a workout. We utilize advanced therapeutic techniques to stretch, strengthen, and balance the whole being. We emphasize breath, body awareness/mindfulness, alignment and posture, and coordinated movement to improve overall health for every class and every individual session. At Pilates and Beyond Studio we address your individual needs and goals whether they are expanded well-being, athletic training, rehabilitation, or pain management.

Do I need prior Pilates experience to start? No. Most clients come to us with no Pilates background at all. We begin with a private assessment session to understand your body, your history, and your goals.
How is Pilates & Beyond Studio different from a regular Pilates studio? We are a boutique therapeutic studio — not a fitness class. Every instructor operates their own independent practice under one roof, bringing specialized expertise in areas like Muscle Activation Techniques, Feldenkrais, orthopedic massage, craniosacral therapy, and spine-informed movement. Private sessions are our foundation.
What equipment do you have? Our studio is fully equipped for both private sessions and small group classes. For private sessions you have access to the Reformer, Cadillac (Trapeze Table), Wunda Chair, Konnector, Ped-a-Pole, Ladder Barrel, Half Barrels, and our newest addition the Core Align. Small group classes utilize the Reformer and Wunda Chair. Our clients — including many in their 80s — are already noticing an immediate transfer into how they move through their day after working on the Core Align. Not sure what any of this equipment does for your body? Come in and take a look — we would love to show you.
Do you teach classical or contemporary Pilates? Our instructors are trained in both classical and contemporary Pilates. In practice we lean toward a contemporary, person-centered approach — meaning we treat the individual in front of us rather than following a set protocol. Every session is shaped around your body, your history, and where you are that day. That said, classical principles are always present in the work — the foundation never disappears.
Whom do you typically work with?People of all ages — including many active adults in their 70s and 80s. We specialize in scoliosis, chronic pain, hip and knee replacement recovery, TMJ, post-surgery rehabilitation, and anyone looking to move better and feel more at home in their body.
When am I ready for a small group class? That is determined by your instructor. Once you have enough private sessions and your instructor feels you are ready, small group classes of up to 4 people become available to you.
How do I get started? Contact the instructor whose background best fits your needs, or call or text Debi at 760-529-2554 and she will guide you to the right fit.
Where are you located? 2210 Encinitas Blvd, Suite I, Encinitas, CA 92024 — east end of Encinitas Blvd in Rincon Plaza, easily accessible from Carlsbad, Del Mar, Solana Beach, and all of North County San Diego.
